Jude 1:4, “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Those who claim to be Christians, but promote anti-Bible beliefs and values, cannot be trusted to represent the local church or the Kingdom in the church or the public square. They are deceiving and subverting believers and unbelievers alike, so the church will look like the world rather than the body of Christ.
Would you trust someone who said they’re on your side, but then spit in your face? That’s what churches are doing to the Bible when they claim to believe it, but then they advocate for sin rather than holiness. The old story about the fox and the snake should be a warning. The fox was lulled into a false sense of security and the snake bit him at the expense of his own life. The Bible tells us the Anti-Christ (who knows God will defeat him) will make a treaty with Israel during the Tribulation and then break it so he can try to destroy them.
1 Peter 5:8-9, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
Believers, be discerning and wise, do not join ranks with religious, social, and political groups that espouse false doctrine and unbiblical agendas. Seek to live and promote the Kingdom agenda. It may not be culturally, educationally, socially, or politically correct, but it will always be right with God.
